Dear Minute Rice,
I know this guy from the internet and I he lives in Japan. I told him "if there's anything in the states that you can't get there that is legal in both places let me know." And you know what he wanted? Boxes of Minute Rice.
I kid you not! It cost me $51 to send him $5 worth of rice. He might be pulling my leg, but he says he can't get it there, which seems like a tragic oversight on your part. I've heard they eat a lot of rice in Japan. You sell rice. Seems to me this is a perfect fit and you are missing out on a huge market.
I'm including a copy of my customs form and postal receipt so you know I'm not making this up!
You should consider selling rice in Japan. I know this guy it would make Happy!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen

This is way too inside joke to try explaining. Needless to say I did do this. No, I won’t be doing it again. Minute Rice did send me a ton of coupons and a page of recipes. I can’t recall ever having eaten Minute Rice, but I will be at least trying some.
