My reaction:
I was really hoping to get a response from this one, but I guess he’s too busy running for a third term to actually send anything.
For the record, Vice President Cheney bothered to at least send a photo, and I sent him nearly the same letter. This actually did make me like Cheney a bit more than I did (I’m still not going hunting with him).
And Fred Thompson did indeed give me his signature as well (link takes you to my personal blog).
Oh well.
